From 1890 until about 1935, Chesapeake Beach was considered a resort town. Visitors from Washington, DC and Baltimore would board a train to come enjoy the beach, bay, bandshell, and boardwalk. Today the train no longer runs, but the station serves as a museum and the boardwalk is cherished by every resident. This scent is reminiscent of that time in history. The notes of tobacco leaf and teakwood will transport you to another time.Â
